Position Descriptions

Senior Consultant / Architect

We are currently seeking Senior Consultant/ Architect candidates with the following skill sets:

• Outstanding client interface skills
• Strong business/technology decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring ability
• Self-motivated with strong initiative
• Ability and willingness for high percentage of travel
• Ability to work with and mentor CxO level individuals down to developers
• 5+ years IS experience including:
  • Experience leading a project team through requirements definition, architecture, detailed design and development of state of the art, enterprise level applications. 
  • Familiarity with the entire software engineering life cycle covering Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Release, and Maintenance
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and written and oral communication skills
• 2-3 years Software Architect experience, including:
  • Extensive expertise in enterprise architectural components and interfaces and their applications. This includes, but is not limited to, relational database systems (including advanced features such as replication, OLAP and data warehousing) from a variety of vendors, middleware technologies such as J2EE application servers or Microsoft.NET, messaging technologies such as MQSeries and JMS, application integration protocols (SOAP, WSDL) and tools such as TIBCO or Vitria, and multiple client technologies including HTML, DHTML, XML and interactive GUIs.
  • Expertise in designing and tuning systems for scalability, performance and high availability
  • Ability to lead a client through an architectural development process, and to collaborate with the clients' architects and other professionals.
  • Ability to discover and define technical requirements and their relationship to functional requirements, and to determine the adequacy of documented requirements for architecture definition
  • Proven ability to rapidly deliver prototypes and proof-of-concept work to validate a proposed architectural approach
  • Ability to separate and work comfortably at multiple levels of abstraction within an architecture
  • Ability to perform these duties in a consulting role on multiple projects and on enterprise or complex projects.
  • Business Rules analysis, architecture and implementation

Business Analyst

We are currently seeking Business Analyst candidates with the following skill sets:

• Ability to develop comprehensive, well organized business requirements.
  • Must have experience working with stakeholders to assess current business processes and visualize and develop workable “to be” business processes. Must have the ability to be an advocate for change. Experience in writing business rules is a big plus.
• Deliver business rules and process models.
• Translate high-level goals and processes into system interactions and detailed requirements.
  • Must communicate effectively with members of the cross-functional team to solve requirements questions and issues and validate concepts. Conceptual design skills are a big plus.
• Plan and execute analysis related tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Must have experience planning all stages of the project as well as executing analysis related tasks throughout the project lifecycle. Must be able to prioritize work and help with resource planning. Must have experience with mainstream software development methodologies, but also the ability to assess the needs of the situation and team and customize the approach accordingly to meet project goals.
• Ability and willingness for high percentage of travel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience and success in working with business experts, management, and technical team members in gathering requirements, communicating ideas, resolving issues, and delivering results. Must be an excellent communicator, facilitator and teacher.
• A consulting and mentoring approach
  • Someone who can be a part of the team and provide mentoring to others as well as doing the work themselves.
• Specific experience with: Rational Unified Process (RUP) and agile approaches, workflow modeling, use cases (at the business and system levels), and UML.

Project Manager

We are currently seeking Project Manager candidates with the following skill sets:

• Outstanding client interface skills
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring ability
• Self-motivated with strong initiative
• Ability and willingness for high percentage of travel
• Ability to work with and mentor CxO level individuals down to developers
• Project management certification is a plus
• 5+ years IS experience including:
  • Experience leading a project team through requirements definition, architecture, detailed design and development of state of the art, enterprise level applications. 
  • Familiarity with the entire software engineering life cycle covering Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Release, and Maintenance
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and written and oral communication skills
• 2-3 years Software Architect experience, including:
  • Leading the creation of credible project plans and schedules. Managing overall performance of project effort against established milestones. Managing schedule and leading contingency planning throughout project.
  • Managing resources (human and material) throughout project
  • Managing project changes as they affect project deliverables, commitments, and schedules.
  • Leading the approval, review, and negotiation of changes, and ensure that resolutions are viable for the client, the team, and the company.
  • Leading the identification and implementation of risk prevention strategies throughout the project.
  • Managing client commitment. Ensuring that the team understands the commitments and is delivering upon them. Negotiating with client when discrepancies are discovered. Ensuring that all commitments are delivered.
  • Facilitating the resolution of technical, business, and/or project compromises and ensure that client, team, and company understand the implications.
