Education Support Services
Artemis Alliance provides education,
support, and mentoring services on general business rules
concepts and specific problems or skills. These services
are offered in a general classroom-type
setting, or off-site. They can follow the predefined curriculum
or can be customized to address a
specific problem-space or skill.
Persons at all levels of your organization
will benefit from Artemis Alliance’s set of business rules
seminars designed to provide practical, real-world training
along the entire continuum of skills required
to design, plan, and implement a successful business rules
initiative.
Our seminars are progressive, starting
with an introductory course and proceeding to a more detailed
seminar covering the activities involved in implementing
a business rules initiative. Other seminars aim
at providing a focused business rules skill set for business
analysis, project management, and
information technology professionals from conception to
deployment. Upon completion of these
seminars, your team will have gained knowledge and skills
that they can apply immediately to your
business rules initiative.
The Artemis Alliance individual or team
educates, and mentors attendees on the business rules-related
concept. From a technical perspective, topics can range
from very general “What are business rules
and how can my organization leverage them?” to the very
granular “What rule pattern would work best
for this particular situation and how would it fit into
my architecture?” From a business perspective,
topics can be varied as well, from “What are business rules
and how can they benefit my organization?”
to specifically “How processes are created allowing the
business to make necessary changes to its
business rules without adversely affecting the rest of the
system or other business functions?” This
education process is offered in a classroom format in a
half/full day session or a series of sessions.
In the end, attendees garner a better
understanding of automated business rules and the benefits
that
can be realized from both a business and IT perspective,
a defined terminology to ensure everyone is
speaking the same language, a high-level understanding of
the impact of automated business rules,
and an idea of how and where to get started. For detailed
project-specific work, each attendee gains
education and mentoring to overcome an existing challenge
or hurdle, reduce the current level of risk,
and position the project for a higher probability of success.
